Welcome to my website. My name is Tim Tansil, and like many of you, I took the “traditional track”. I went to school, got a good education, and landed a “real job” with a great company. My wife Josie and I were even able to participate in the one thing that confirmed our entrance into the “American Dream”, home ownership. The problem was that I found myself in a situation that seemed more like a nightmare.

My wife and I had a combined student loan debt of over six figures. In our infinite wisdom, we added credit card debt, furniture payments, failed business opportunities, and a mortgage to a budget that was already stretched to the limit… Sound familiar? Our income was no match for the debt we had created, and I just could not see a way out.
The Burning Question
I became obsessed with obtaining the knowledge needed to turn our financial situation around. I literally prayed and asked God to lead me to the answer and give me the strength to take consistent actions that would make a lasting difference.
The Answer
I wish I could say the answer came overnight, but that was not the case. It was a process of changing my personal philosophy about money. Through reading books, listening to audio CDs, and internet research (much like the research you are doing on my site right now); I gradually changed my thinking, developed a plan, and started to take the action steps to climb out of my financial pit.
Resurrecting the Dream
Once I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, I started dreaming again.
